Laurel fork falls outside Hampton

The backpack I picked for slack packing

Bob Peoples - I can't wait to work hardcore after trail days with this guy. He is the most interesting person I have met on the trail

  1. Hank! You have been on my mind all day today... Tomorrow you will have been gone one month. It is so quiet here. Luna is spending more time outside during the day since the weather is nice & she ALWAYS comes in at night. She won't have anything to with going out if there is rain... Elsie & Rachel get excited when I say your name... I enjoy reading about your adventures... and now your pictures! I especially love the descriptions of the trees, moss coloring, how the light shines and how you feel while you are on the trail... Keep up the good work-- I know you will make it the whole 2100 miles before you know it. I am amazed at how fast you are progressing... I am so proud of you. I love you. xoxo
