The begining

I always knew I wanted to hike the AT. It was not until my dad told me that now was the perfect time to do it that a spark lit and I began scrambling together.. I decided I was gonna hike the trail just under 2 months before I planned to start it.. through the magic of the interwebs, extra shifts, word of mouth by other hikers, and positive influence of others that I shall begin my trip on the 19th of march with the intention of being back for a soccer tournament that is held at the end of august every year. I have scrounged together a mismatched and glorious collection of necessities that I will need, and along with some things I have to purchase a little later (money went very fast for some items). I will hike and tell tale of my adventure as best I can until I can come back and give full and vivid recounts by mouth. if anyone has any specific questions I believe that I can leave a comment section on this blog which I will attempt to leave turned on if I can figure out how, or you can reach me with your questions at "hankindenmark@yahoo.com".. I want this blog to be goofy and fun so please if you have any care to interact with it, that would make me very happy.. also I will be signing of with my trail name of which I do not have one yet.. so any recommendations would be awesome... happy trails!
